Leycia Samuels is a hardworking, driven individual who constantly works to develop her personal and professional skills. Early in her career, after pursuing her undergraduate degree, she honed her customer service skills by working in the airline industry. This required her to learn a lot of information in a timely manner. Ever the avid learner, she quickly adapted from assisting regular customers to being promoted to VIP mileage customers.

Upon her migration back to Antigua in 2015, she continued to work in customer service however this time in the gaming industry; it wasn't long before she sought to utilize her knowledge in psychology and became a civil servant, where she has utilized her skills to advise on Social Policies, create guidelines, manuals and implementation plans. At this time, in 2017, she joined Junior Chamber International (JCI) Antigua, where she seized the opportunity to develop her leadership skills. She hit the road running in accepting her first appointed position in 2018 and has continued to elevate through her local organization to President in 2021. She then continued to advance her National organization (JCI West Indies) to her current role as Executive Vice President. Through her professional and personal journey, she has learnt the value of service, mentoring and being willing to learn.
